Welcome to the the home of Icarus Radio, broadcasting 24/7 and featuring singer/songwriters, instrumentalists and poets, all of whom are friends of the Icarus Club, London (www.myspace.com/theicarusclub). We have a distinctly acoustic bias, although we do make some exceptions now and again ! If you'd like your songs played on our station, or you'd like to recommend a particular act, email us at icarusclub@hotmail.co.uk . We present music from a rich variety of artistes, the like of which we can safely say you will not hear elsewhere ! We take risks with our musical selection, the kind of risks most stations won't take, but we believe that this is an approach listeners will appreciate.

The Monday Night Show

The Monday Night Show hosted by André Georges, aka Hatmendo, broadcasts at 9 pm UK time every Monday (logically enough !) and is repeated at 4-hourly intervals for the benefit of our friends in other time zones (Click HERE for the time where you are). The format of the show varies from week to week - the "preview", which features upcoming acts performing at the Icarus Club on the Monday prior to one of our live shows, the "3 x 5", which features 3 songs by each of 5 selected acts, the "epic", where we only feature songs that are more than 6 minutes in length, and the "album feature", where the whole show is given over to a single album which has caught our ears. The rest of the time, we like to let the music do the talking via our rolling playlist, which we update every few days.
